Hi. My name is Don Alexander. I have a 94 Geo Metro. A couple of days ago a check engine light came on. Upon investigation I found low coolant and added coolant. I haven't had a chance to check the code yet or clear the code but now I have been told that the check engine light has extinguished itself. I guess my question is... can these things clear themselves? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

yes, they can clear themselves......the computer sees that the problem has been fix, which was low coolant and will clear the problem.....but u should check why you were low on coolant, u may have a leak somewhere
