Do you perhaps have a H20 engine manual that you can send me, or point me in the right direction? My friend needs it for timing chain adjustments. Or the whole manual for SV620? Its a 2.0l V6 Grand Vitara.
Hi James, there is some black marker writing over the main CPU, but looks like MH6711 E889. Posting here does not seem to let me add attachments of the pics I have of the PCB.
Just looking to identify where to repair the traces under C103
Hi Rhinoman, you seem to have a bit of experience with the ECU's.
Do you happen to have clear top and pictures of the PCB for the 33920-56B40 with the 47uF cap removed? It would be great to see the traces under the cap as mine is a bit burnt and hard to tell.
gents again thanks i have found a supplier local for the camshaft sensor again i thank you for taking the time just a quick one though the mechanic i had look at the car with his diognostic machine had no faults showing even when it stalled whilst conected to the machine is this normal for this kind of fault ie not showing up as a fault ???? again thanks for all your help i do now have 2 spare egr valves lol sure some one will be looking for one at some time also i take it the camshft sensor is easy to replace undo nut pull out then replace ????
Hi Rhinoman, I am hoping you could offer some help. I have a suzuki vitara 2.0ltr V6 1996 hear in the uk. Bought as a non runner having stood for 13 months but was ok when parked up. Now mil light flashing constantly have bridged monitor block but does not make any difference. You will know about the fault with these loosing the key code after flat battery. I would like to be sure that it is the imobi and be able to test to find that out. There does not seem to be and answers in the forum to the question of being able to bypass the mobi are you able to do that or repair back to running order?. But as said i need to find out first and could you give me a starting point or 10.Done some basic stuff have no spark, have fuel. have 12v at the injector and camshaft sensor ( this was a strong sugestion from a mechanic as the other thing that would stop the spark) I must tell you this had a gas conversion some years ago just to complecate thing even more.
Kind regards John Davis.
It is a stock standard 1996 Samurai SJ 1.3. I did not lift the syspention at all. She is the coil spring model, and does not have a steering damper fitted at all. I do not suspect any play on the king pins, for she just passed roadworthy test, and they are very strict about any suspention play. I fitted brand new tyres about a week ago, cause I thought it might be that, but to no avail. Someone suggested that I change the felt on the "4x4 Balls" on the front diff. Could it perhaps be that?
