Thanks for you reply on the cam timing. Like I stated in my post i have been a mechanic for 20 years and it just seemed strange that when evr I have replace head gaskets ect on other vehicles i have always lined up distrubutor with #1 when installing it. havent seen any books containing that info. A stupid question...what does it mean when you see 'bump' on a post, or if people 'bump'? I have seen this on other forums, and never can figure out what it is.
