Default Rear view adhesive pad

Hi there,

My rear view mirror recently fell off. The pad underneath (plastic? rubber?) had decayed and was crumbling, so I had to remove it (I used a razor and it came off fine). But now, I find I cannot for the life of me find a pad to replace this crumbled one I removed (well, several in the UK, but not in the US). Does anyone know where I could get one? Any help would be appreciated...

Hi 7-even - I have tried this in several stores /online retailers and cannot find any. Seriously, I know this sounds stupid, but I actively cannot find them in anything less than a package with a brand new mirror.

Not been to a body shop yet. Been to several auto-zone type places (including Auto-zone) and they only stock the GM / Chrysler ones. Will try and get there this week...

I actually have managed to find pads that work (or at least seem to at the moment). I had to wait until I went back to the UK and went into a shop to get them, though I have since found the same ones online on ebay:

Summit 2 Interior Mirror Adhesive Pads | eBay

I spent hours looking in the US and couldn't find any, so resigned myself to just getting them from the UK (where I knew where I could get them).

Sorry it took so long to post...
