So that the ECU can "see" the new mod in the car. Its much like resting your computer when you have installed new updates or something of that sort.

Well i think all is good. Before i could even phone Chevy to book it in the light disappeared on its own. I've checked all the crital components and everything seems to be working fine. Suppose thats lucky strike number one, and also the last!
