The ones on the steering wheel are easy to remove, taking a small flathead and wiggling those out... if it is like the forenza, you have to remove your glovebox to correctly get the ones above it off. (or be like me and find that out after the fact) the center console piece has some snaps that you just take the flathead to and go from there... here is a picture of my forenza after the end result.

The center piece that surrounds the head unit, has some reliefs at the top under the vents. Stick a skinny but stout flathead between the plastic and vinyl, and pop it out. It'll take some force, don't be scared.

Don't forget to disconnect the a/c controls from either side of the tunnel.

Thanks, it took some time, but I got it done... if your Forenza/Reno/Whatever Else you drive is blue... I got a pretty close paint match from Lowe's Home Improvement.

Use the Rustoleum Automobile Primber (Light Gray) 2081
Then Use Rustoleum Metallic Cobalt Blue Metallic Paint 7251
Then Use Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel 7701

Depending on Humidity and temperature wait 15 to 20 minutes between stages. The hardest part is removing the cables that attach to the climate controls. There are two of them one on the driver and one on the passenger, if you have a small enough flat head you can get inbetween the the wire and the gears on the back side of each cable or you can take a small phillips head and unscrew from the beginning towards the knobs on each side and go from there (recommended). This project will make you angry, but it is worth it.

on the reno you can just pop the cable off the gear then there is a little lever that holds it in place(2 or so inches before the gear) pop it (one on each side) and the front pulls right out
