Default Blue H7 Bulbs

Where do you guys get your blueish H7 bulbs? HID would be cool but I'll stick with a bulb.

If you only want to stick with just a bulb, Street Glow makes some nice ones. Auto Parts, Motorcycle Parts, Car Parts, Truck Accessories & Parts, Auto Accessories - JC Whitney has some. I have a pair in my car now that I've had almost 2 years. They haven't burned out on me once and look white just like factory HID's. Hope this helps.

Thank you sir. I will buy them soon but, I looked at my Forenza headlight, and in the instruction book, it says there are two bolts on top and one nut then I can remove headlight.

But where is that nut? I looked everywhere for it. Any tip on removing the headlights?

The nut is right behind the head light unit. Look at the back of the unit you you should see it kind of hidden by the grill. It is kind of hard to reach so make sure you have the right tools to reach for that nut. Also if you want that blueish look i would recommend purchasing a HID conversion kit. You can buy a kit on ebay for almost the same price as the bulbs.

If you get the bulbs, make sure to not get any overpowered 100w bulbs as you will risk melting the headlight wiring harness. Ideally stock (55w) is the safest, but I used 65w for 2 years without a problem.

Oh ok, so that HID would fit in the H7 slot?

If I remember correctly, then I have to disconnect the DRL right? I need to find that link.

I have just the bulbs for $30 shipped and KID kits for $130 shipped. The bulbs are close to a 6k.

ok, I hate to keep asking questions. I'm not a very good do it yourselfer so I just want everything to go smoothly. I found this link:

eBay Motors: XENON HID CONVERSION KIT H1/H3/H4/H7/H11/9005/9006/9007 (item 150250080178 end time May-24-08 11:19:05 PDT)

So this should fit my Forenza without doing any modding or anything?

Yes, once you disconnect your DRL's, the plug for which is under the dash near the dead pedal then you can connect these with no problem. The only two things you would need to do are: 1. Drill holes in the bulb covers for the wiring harness grommets, and 2. Find a stable dry place to mount the Ballasts. If you do this make sure to leave the HID's on for at least 10 minutes for proper burn in time. Hope this helps.

Yes those will work perfectly. I myself purchased a HID conversion kit off ebay and they look great. You dont need to do any major modding at all. They are designed for plug and play. Make sure when you checkout that you tell the seller what size of bulbs you need and the temp(color) you want. I would recommend the 5,000 or 6000K temps because they give out the most visible light out put. If you go any higher it gets less visible but they do look pretty snazy if you want to get attention! The kit should also come with some pretty strong double stick tape for mounting the ballast if not I would highly recommend purchasing some STRONG double stick tape so that you dont have to drill any holes to mount the ballast. Let me know if you have any questions.
