I am thinking about buying the bulbs from street glow. But to be on the safe side. Those are 55w right? Also to put the bulb in, do I just unscrew the black cover leading to the stock h7 light?

You can get them in a 55 watt bulb. All you have to is remove your dust caps and the bulb is easily replaced.

I went ahead with street glow. I didn't quite trust the other webistes. But anyways I ended up getting the 70w H7. I'm sure the wiring harness can take that. Also I always use my low beams for night driving so it should be ok.

Any thoughts about it?

Ok, I think I'm retarded but,

Unscrewing dust cover, easy.
Try to get the light out, hard. How do you get it out of there? I tried twising and pulling. No luck. argh.

The 70 Watt bulbs should be fine. There is a little metal tab holding the bulb in place, you just have to push it in and move it out. The bulb should pop out fine after that, then you just unplug the wiring and then line up the new bulb, put the metal tab back on and you are done.

Hmmm, well I replaced the driver side with the new bulb with no problems.
However, I tried doing the passenger side and I was able to get the bulb out, but the metal tab holding it came out with it too.

I am going to call and have my local auto tire put it back in. Did I break anything?

It should be easy to put the tab back on. Since you don't have a picture I can't say for sure though. Sorry to hear about it happening.

Hmm, I think it's just held on by a screw.

Just remove the whole headlight. There are two (10mm I think, maybe 12mm) bolts on the top and one hidding near the grill on the side, you reach it from the engine bay. I think that's it but it's been awhile since I've had a forenza front end.

I took it to the dealer, so that way I won't have issues doing it myself. Also you are correct in that the tab is held on by a screw.

Other than that, I love the lights.
