Default HID kit installed today

I just installed 8000k HID kit on my 05 forenza and WOW i was speachless...but it looks amazing and lights up the road better than any car i have ever been in! I don't know how i ever drove halogens HID's are insane:P
Plus it only took about 30 minutes, and thats the first time i ever installed them before!

hahah good to hear. 8000k is a bit too blueish for my tastes, but to each their own. HIDs own! lol

Honestly they are alot less blue than i thought! They are a crisp bright white with a hint of blue that emits in the surounding light not from the bulb itself. But Finding a spot to mount the ballasts was probably the hardest part of the whole thing, it was super easy. Halogens= never again lol

do have any glare to them some ppl where saying that once they installed theirs it would glare alot.

I'm not sure if it is just the kit that i used or not but they look stock (no glare) but they look nicer than any stock ones i have seen=) My friend has a VDUB GTI and he has stock HID's and he wants to order the kit I have to replace his HID's!

where did you buy your hid kit from and how much did it cost im looking to buy some the 6000k ones.

look at the reflection design/glare it makes on the garage door






yeah...they are bright as FUK!

Looks good. That "reflection design" you see on the door is called glare, and one of the main reasons alot of people don't like HID kits when put into standard halogen housings. There is no clean cutoff of the light, so it sort of goes everywhere and causes glare for oncoming motorists. Having said this, I still don't have projector HIDs lol.

r u saying the forenza doesnt come with projectors? or do HID's need special projector lenses for them to work properly?
