Default dash trim removal? zuki tech?

passenger side just below the airbag, theres a silver strip. i want the beast off so i can paint it. my gf suggested that the airbag might come out in that area, but i thought that it would just pop through the top where you can see the outline. i pryed on it pretty hard and forced myself to stop because i don't want to break anything...any ideas?

Airbag comes out above it. You can see the outline if the suns right. As to how to remove it, I dunno

thanks. my next attempt was to take out the glovebox. the top picture looks different because our air vents are actually on the black part with the air bag, but the description helps.

great find on the diagrams...very helpful! For the door trim, do you just pop them out or what?

The door trims are easy to get off, few screws here and there.

I'm glad someone finally knows how to get the front silver panels off, I made a post asking if anyone knew how to some time ago and no1 knew how

most of the dash is held on by those dash clips that pop off with a little prying. you have to remove the glove box to get behind the passenger side's trim. there's 2 or 3 screws behind it and 4 clips holding it in place. i have no idea why it's tied down so much more than the rest of the dash.

now the only thing i couldnt figure out is the vent covers. if you look behind them, you can see little clips, but i still couldnt get them off...might have to turn them or use a special tool????
