Default Pics of my short shifter, shift knob, and satellite radio

So I finally borrowed my girlfriend's camera and got some pics. This is a shortened shifter from Kinky, with a Richbrook slant top reverse lift knob I had shipped from the UK.

My Sirius S50 radio is there, too, on a lighter-mount from e-bay -- I like the S50, but the mount isn't sized right for the lighter opening.

The short shifter is a fantastic improvement in drivability - the car is significantly better with it.

The knob has a nice feel, and isn't too heavy (bad for trans.). My only complaint is that the set screw hole on the back has a rough edge that is right where the fingers fall when driving. I need to smooth it down.

Richbrook has other knobs that will fit for reverse lift, too -- the speed top looks nice, and they have interchangable badges for the top to choose from too. I found it here:

Some guy just told me he likes my knob --- I'm not sure how to feel about that.

I don't exactly remember-- the shifter was between 40 and 50 USD, and I think the shipping was 25 or 30. It was still cheaper than a momo, and I like the satin aluminum round knobs -- reminds my of my buddy's Mustang GT I drove for awhile. Check out that link, or search ebay for richbrook.

thanks - I thought they fit the Euro wagon look. I'll post some pics in the car once I wax it and get it looking right.

I just noticed Intruder's avatar - I think they're the same rims, if you want to see how they'd look on a Reno.

Default Shift knob

if you can modify with the shifter, there is one good shift knob for Reno or Forenza. Buy 06 or newer Hyundai Sonata 5 speed shift knob. it is great shif knob and it will fit perfectly. however, you need some modification.

Yeah, that's my '49 Plymouth I restored in high school. Fun old boat of a car. Flathead 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column, and a comfortable cruising speed of about 53 mph. One of these days I'm going to put in an overdrive trans from a '52, and then it should be a bit more drivable in modern conditions. Lot of fun, that car. Has about 35K miles, and runs like a Swiss watch.

Sweet. I just got a '68 Dodge /6. I'm basically in the same boat there. 3 speed auto and looking for an OD.
