Is this a "dealer only item" or are these things available where you guys live?
Yep, dealer only part as of this summer..... and they'll want 45$CAN for it. I chose the cheap alternative until aftermarket filters are easily available (In Canada). See this thread: http://www.suzuki-forums.com/general...in-filter.html

Hi guys,

I've just replaced my Cabin Air Filter a few days ago. I bought the new filter from FleetFilter.com. I've driven my 2006 Forenza a little over 4,000 miles now, and I wasn't really expecting the filter to be dirty at all (I've also researched that the average cabin air filter should be replaced every 10K - 12K), but I was totaly wrong. The filter was pretty much in the dark gray color, and it smelled quite bad (the smell of heavy dust if anyone knows what I mean). After putting in the new filter, and turning on the A/C, I've noticed the odor coming from the vent has been greatly reduced, but also the efficiency of the A/C. I felt the air getting cooler a lot quicker.

I am glad I changed my filter. I still can't believe how dirty it was though. Kind of makes you think about the air quality we live in.

Sonny.
