I havnt an idea why those bulbs cost so much but thats a rip off. I have the syalvanians and dont think they're worth it. They are around 25-40 for a pair at autostores. I got some bulbs off ebay for about $10 shipped and they were brighter than the syalvanaisn but lasted only 2/3rds the time... still a better deal I think.

dude go to cool bulbs then get the japanesse brand or go korean since our car is and save some serious dough
I was hoping danny had luck with the sylvania but anyway

I wish I remembered the name of that neon maker they also do these and you see the brand all over auto parts stores
you should be looking at 15-30 bucks depending on how bright you go and then when you find a brand you like search ebay for it and even try the manufacturer directly but ebay would be the easy way
good luck

they claim these are 24 karat gold plated, also they glow purple like 10K HIDs.

Gold plated? I can't understand why they'd need that in the first place. Bulbs are bulbs, a traditionally NON-HID setup. If they 'glow' purple, then they might as well be blue-tint crap. Waste of money on bad rice.

Gold eh? Pimp where no one will see it! Golds a bdetter conductor, but like the gold autio connections, you woanjt see any difference (On the audio, you might if you spent 5K on a stero alone)

you can do with out the gold plating useless
its the filament that matters
and you can get that blue or purple glow for very cheap
100 bucks not worth it if it were 30 well
i still say 15 -30 is the target and go for quality not snakeoil claims
tell me have you ever accidently bought gold plated jewelrey
corroded quickly right and was worse quality than so cheap stuff right
dont get me wrong gold has its place in electonics
just make sure that its application is not for marketing

Hola Huecobros,

Soy de Medellín también, y creo que ya hemos tenido contacto antes, no fuiste tu quien me compró un protector de pantalla y rueda para un Ipod nano?? Al menos alguien con un email similar de aqui de medellín me compró ese producto.

Sorry guys to speak in spanish, but we're from the same city and I think I know him, going back to the forums, I think $100 is a lot of money for common bulbs, even if they have gold, altough I don't know what's for. I have a Suzuki Reno or Optra Hatchback here and I order the reno headlight because you know the ones that comes stock in Optra Hatchback here are very simple and uses a single H4 bulb and I will order real HID kits from USA for the new headlights, I found very attractive prices on ebay from $180, I think is a great deal huecobros, because if you had looked for it here in Medellín, the usually cost about $400. If you're interested you can PM me and maybe we can buy two kits and get a better price because I we will only have to pay a single shipping to COlombia for both kits.

Let me know, If you are who I think you are, you have my email.

Saludos.
