I have noticed alot of people have replaced their headlight bulbs here with Silverstars...I'm sure that is good for brightness and clarity. I am looking for more of an HID look with the blueish, purple tint to them when they are on. Right now I don't want to drop the $, or deal with the conversion to real HID's. Does anyone know of any replacement bulbs that are brighter than stock with the blue/purple tint.

I had Streetglow's in my Avenger and currently have them in my 94 Explorer.
Love'm...I'm just waiting for my local shop to get the low beams in stock.

Thanks for all your suggestions, it helps alot when people have actually tried the product instead of trying like 30 different brands yourself. Looks like I'm of to buy some new headlight bulbs. Once again thanks...

I've had the silverstars twice and I've found that most of the bulbs for low beams off ebay are brighter and a hell of alot cheaper. I cant remember if I get 4300k or 5300k though. They are more blue than the silverstars.. but still not blue. Something like 7000k is blue but I dont recommend anything higher than what I have unless you have the reno with projectors. Otherwise it just scatters the light to much and blinds people

I don't know about other states, but in california only the white one is legal for road use the others ones are illegal, except for car shows.
