Default Suzuki Kizashi Concept

The Kizashi Concept unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show is further proof that Suzuki has a new path in mind. This 5-door, midsized sedan speaks to the D-segment and is another step closer to the creation of a complete production lineup for the Japanese automaker.

This is a concept that wants to be seen. The assertive grille, stylized LED headlights and glitzy 21-in. wheels highlight Suzuki’s aim to raise its status level with consumers. Early specifications for the Kizashi feature a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive.

Another tip-off is the name Suzuki selected for this particular concept; "Kizashi" simply translates to "prelude" in Japanese. That’s one way to get the word out.

I like the front of the car, but not exactly wild about the side of it.

Well a concept car is to just show the direction a company is going. This tells me Suzuki will have a true sports car in the works soon. I still like the C7 concept, That thing was a Miata killer with a twin turbo micro v8.

There was a thing on Autoblog saying that Suzuki is actually going to make the car. I wonder what changes it will have, the power and performace, and if they are going to sell the car over here.
