Default JD Power & Associates: Suzuki at bottom???

Hello to all again,

I was recently reading the news and JD Power and Associates ranked Buick and Jaguar at #1 in a Vehicle Dependability Study and Lexus at #2 or #3. I looked for Suzuki and it seems Suzuki has the most problems out of any vehicle. What do you all think? The article has a statement from the Suzuki company mentioning how it doesn't have enough dealers, but what are your thoughts? Could Suzuki be that bad????? From what I see from friends and family that have Suzukis, it seems they are pretty good cars.

I know that one of the biggest things Suzuki trains on is the Survey that is sent out by JD power and Associates. Most dealers either don't care or don't ask for good scores and it has hurt Suzuki quite a bit in the JDP rankings.

I think we'll see some changes there with the fully Japanese model line-up and American Suzuki's new focus because of their new president, Koichi Suzuki.

I fear that it may be partially my and maybe other drivers fault. I get the JDP surveys, but always forget to ship them in. I still have a couple, and will take care of those. Our deal alway reminds us of them when we go in for service. I also suspect, that people that may be having issues with their ride, will be the first to complain and submit their surveys. I love both our 2002 and 2007 XL7s. I just forget to send in the surveys. I feel a bit guilty.

Regards,

Ivan
