Is it okay to spray it directly to the fuel tank instead into the carburetor?

Here are the DIRECTIONS stated on the product:

1. Operate the engine for 5-10 minutes
2. Remove the air cleaner. For the engine at fast idle (5000-6000rpm), spray the carb cleaner into the air-horn, flooding choke, throttle shafts and plates.
3. Gums, Varnishes, and Carbon deposits will be burnt away through exhaust gases.
4. Turn off the engine and install the air cleaner again.
5. For the FUEL INJECTION systems, spray 1/2 can of the Carb Cleaner directly into the 1/2 tank of fuel.

It is stated there that in fuel injection type engine, the spray carb cleaner is directly and easily spray into the fuel tank. But my engine is carburetor type, not EFI. Will it be okay if I instead spray directly the carb cleaner into the fuel tank and mix it with the fuel instead of lurking those air cleaner, flood choke, throttle shafts and plates? Because I dont know much of those air-horn, flooding choke, etc. Is the air cleaner, the circular shaped like a cylinder which is made from cartoon or paper fins inside a hard plastic cylinder formed cabin?

I would like instead to spray and mixed directly this product into the fuel tank but my as I have said, I have a carburetor type engine and not fuel injection type, and I am afraid if this carb cleaner has a pure water ingredient that can damage and drown down the engine or in other words "magpalyar" in tagalog dialect.

Please teach me, I need to learn this so that I can clean my carburetor frequently and easily.

While its OK, it would more serve the purpose to buy something like STP gas treatment for the tank.

Your reading it incorrect. NO way does it say at a fast IDLE, 5000-6000 rpm spray it into the throtle body.. 6000 rpm fast idle? hardly.
