Arrow I have 2 problems Can u help?

1st- and most disturbing--When I turn on my a/c it shoots out a horrible vinegar smell! I am the one and only owner of this car(Forenza), bought it new in 06. I do smoke but I really don't feel it is related. Any ideas on what might be happening?

2nd problem--Most annoying!
I need two maybe four interior door panels. About 6months-1year after I bought my car, my puppy unbenounced to me, jumped in my car. I left in another vehicle and came back about an hour later. Of course the dog was fine it wasn't hot out, but my Car was NOT. He literally tried to eat his way out. He chewed all 4 of the top portion of the door panels and now I would like to get them replaced. Where should I look? Local Salvages do not have any yet. I am in the Tulsa, Ok area.

you could try suzukicarparts.com for the door panels. as far as the smell, you might need to replace your cabin air filter.

In addition to the cabin filter, you may want to consider having an A/C service done where the technician injects a bacteria killing foam into the system through the evaporator drain. This kills all the microscopic critters inside you ductwork. It is a 2 part process. Also an arosol is sprayed into the ducts through the fresh air inlet. It helps kill all the offensive odors that are in there. This should be done occasionally (6 mo) as water accumulates in the system when you use the A/C. Hope this helps. Good Luck

The cheap way I did on a dodge caravan (but should also apply to the forenza):

Spay 1/2 a can of Lysol thru the air intake (grille under the wipers) while the blower is working full speed then turn it off to let the stuff work and evaporate. You might have to repeat treatment a second time later.

Also, choose a smell you can live with for a few days ;-)
