Cost of 30k Service

I own a 07 Reno Auto with about 28.4K in miles this place I go to get my oil change tires rotated and inspection wants let me know that my car is coming up on 30k in miles which I know already so they want to do it for me. This is a goodyear place and they want to charge me $50 to do a diagnostic plus the labor for what else needs to be done they could not provide me a complete estimate. So my question is should I take my reno to the dealer which is a chevy dealer? and what is the avg cost for this type of service? Baring I do not have to work Friday I'm going to prob go down to the dealer I just wanted to know if anybody had any experience getting this type of service done on their reno/forenza.

I've got no idea about USA prices...

But what needed to be done on mine @ 30k was:

-Timing Belt Inspection/Adjustment (Mandatory to keep warranty if it ever breaks before 60k/5yr) (got charged 109$CAN)
-Plug replacement (Standard copper, but with 2 grounds) (Did it myself for 20$US/RockAuto parts)
-Brake Fluid replacement (you decide, I had it done since its cheaper than replacing calipers later) (70$CAN)
-Antifreeze ('05 got the old [blue/green] 2yr/30k formula, I think they switched to dexcool [orange] 5yr/100k in '06, check for color). (Did it myself... 10$ for a gallon + 5$ for Distilled Water)

So expect a good amount to do all this at the dealer... good luck

update I stoped by the dealer and the guy qouted me a price of $425 after taxes to do the 30k service, so I asked him what it entitles and he said tire rotaton, changing spark plugs, changing brake fluid, changing air cabin filter (which i did my self two months ago) and an additional $170 to flush the tranny. Seems like a Rip to me....

half of that stuff u could probley do by urself if u new what u were doing

i say stuff the dealer and go some well known mechanic

if thats what they need to do, its just a normal service and any mechanic will be more then happy to do that for you for alot cheaper

lol yeah for that price i could learn how to do that stuff, but damn dont know who to trust...
