if it goes out you will notice the ride diffrence when you hit any type of disigurment in the road, i notieced it from one day to the next, since my car had only 32,000 the dealership decided to replace them in good faith that i am taking good care of my car.
took threee days to get them in, and about a day and half to put them on.
normally i dont think they are warantied under the 36 K mile warrenty.
but hey does not hurt to ask!
