Mine just popped 52,000 mi today. I have had to replace the water pump, power steering pump, and getting ready to have to replace the brake rotors on the rear because the springs on the caliper some how messed them up (at least that is what the mechanic said)

Most I have seen have done well past there easily but the timing belt will be due.

Being an '05 check into the water pump recall, instrument panel wiring harness repair (DRL), and seat belt buckle recalls. You may have one or more of these to do.

If you need the water pump replaced that will save you (or reset the clock already on the timing belt) the cost of replacement and a coolant exchange too.

60K you are due on the normal schedule for

oil and filter change (3K)
cabin filter (7.5K)

coolant exchange (30K)
engine air filter (30K)
tune up/spark plugs (30K)
brake flush (30K)
timing belt inspection and retension (30K)

spark plug wires (60K)
timing belt replacement (60K)

My '04 Forenza has over 88,000 miles on it but I just bought it. Everything is good but I don't know what has been replaced etc. Suzuki says any past recall problems have already been taken care of on my car so I'm good there. It runs great and gets great MPG's.

The only problem I have is I got hit by an 82 year old woman yesturday. I'm just glad she has insurance because it's gonna cost about $4k to get it fixed. The damage doesn't look that bad but the body shop says it will need a new right read door and some other work done behind the right read wheel.

It was looking brand spanking new before I got hit and they said it will look even better when they are done with it.
