My son has 51+ on his. He's had it for a couple months and 4K miles. The banjo fitting on the tranny supply line from the radiator is leaking.

I have a friend with a 06 Forenza...has 112 K on it and he has done nothing to it much more than oil changes.....I have told hime he needs to do the required services to no avail.
BUT.....it does go to show that they can hold up well.

My girlfriend has a 2005 Forenza with 110,000 miles on it. I was going to replace the belt tomorrow morning, then I found this thread. I can't find any reference to a timing belt or water pump recall for the 2005 Forezna anywhere except this thread. How can I find information on this recall? Thanks.

I called suzuki and they just ran the vin (had no idea how many miles on it) and they said the only recall listed is for something with the running lights. That is the same thing the government website that lists recalls shows. When you go to the government website and type in 2005 Forenza it only shows one recall.

Yes few 05's have the timing belt issue. It is mostly 04's. DRL issue is stupid over heating problem. I had that Problem.
