heater/ac blower problem
Hey guys let me know if any of you have had the same problem. I'm driving an 06 Reno.
Last winter, my vent started making a strange rattling noise, which I assume means the bearings on the fan motor are starting to go. Anyway, I ignored it, thinking it would eventually fail completely, and I would have to get a new one.
But recently, I've started having problems with the blower not turning on when I first start the car if it's wet or cold outside. Once you drive a few minutes though, it kicks on fine and there doesn't seem to be any problem. I turns off when it's supposed to and the blower only rattles a little when it's warm out.
So, my questions are this: Do you think that's a problem with a sticking relay under the hood? Or is it a problem with the resister? Do you think the rattling noise is related to the other problems?
