There has been known quality issues with our car. So its possible that you may have gotten a bad spark plug.

Get an OBD-II code scanner and plug it into your diagnostics box under the hood.

More often than not, idle issues in new cars are due to faulty sensors in places everyone mentioned. My first guess was CKP.

Don't go driving around all over creation until you know whats wrong. Your timing could be off and could cause major problems if not fixed.

Do routine checks under the hood to make sure all electrical sensors and connectors you can see are plugged in tightly. When my Reno was new I found the wires on the disty were not pushed on all the way and it seemed to smooth the idle a little.

Clean gas? Who do you buy gas from? El Cheap Gaso Station? Also what grade of gas are you buying? Super is a marketing term by the way.

Do not put 93 grad gas in your car. You don't need it and as you have seen it does your car harm than any good. Get the cheap 87 grade and you be much better off.

Ok... lets put it this way
Your car is designed for 87. It rund perfectly fine on 87. Its power is designed for 87. Its ECU curve is designed around 87.

Now you put in a gas that doesn't detonate as easily. You might be hurting performance because it dosn't have the compresstion to take advantage of the harder to ignite fuel.

Point 2, your using the second worse gasoline. Why not just use Barely Petroleum (BP/Amaco=arco).
If your going to use the cheep places, remember to Techron your system on occasion. I know a Chemical engineer at Chevron. He'll Techron on a long trip, then redo it on the short trip around town where he went, then once more on the trip home. Keeps the engine, and everything else clean.

Weird thing is, premium in california is 91. Don't need the extra octane or two really for premium
