Hi All

I had a problem with my Suzuki. The Check Light was on the dash, so I had a look around the web for on how to read the codes.

Came across this site www.auto-diagnostic-codes.com

Has FREE code info on Engines, ABS, Auto Trans, Airbags.... for cars from US, European, Australian and Japanese and Korean vehicles.

I was able to follow the instructions to read my engine codes, and then type the code in the system.

Code came up as Code 13: Oxygen Sensor or circuit.

I tested and replaced the sensor, and that fixed problem. Just thought this website might also help others.

Please keep in mind that these codes are only a starting point to diagnosing a problem. For example, P0171 is a code for a lean fuel system. That code could be triggered by bad injectors, exhaust leaks, intake/vacuum leaks or another faulty sensor input. That O2 sensor code doesn't always mean the sensor is bad.

Is there another link for diagnostic codes? This website doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Thanks!!

The site is there. The link in the opening thread is incorrect.
