I am having trouble locating air filters for our 2004 Forenza. I am thinking that the air filter for the 2004 Chevy Optra might be an identical part, but I have been unable to find any listings which provide a cross-reference between Suzuki and GM parts. Any one got any clues on this?

Hum... not sure about that. I've had a Saturn SL1 (Same powertrain as the SC1), and I'm sure the filter wouldn't fit my new Optra. I would have kept my K&N filter instead of letting it go in the trade car.

Yea, the ol' Catch-22. Wont start stocking them until they start selling them, but won't sell any since they don't stock them (gotta love those business-school graduates who have never been able to understand the problem of "circular logic"). At least NAPA has a part number for them (Apparantly neither Auto Zone nor Shucks have part numbers for them), but no stock. The closest location they have any stock is Salt Lake City (they have two in stock), but nothing else on the left coast.

I guess I'll just have to get it from the dealer, but I sure would like to be able to get it third-party, or at least be able to comparison price between Suzuki and GM dealers. If any Canadian members can give me the Delco part number for the filter, I might be able to get a cross-reference on a GM-USA part number that way.

Thanks.
