Hey! So the last piece of my stereo upgrade is this DVD player that I just recieved in the mail today. Well I did what it said on some of the threads already, but the center as well as the right AC cables are giving me problems. I can't seem to get acces to them. Is there another way to take that trim piece off? I've been told once to release those two wires on either side on the " big black AC thing" under the dash, but will that affect anything? Like they're not under heavy tension or anything right?! Thanks for any advice.
Well what i did for mines was remove the glove box for the right side and for the drivers side it was easy to access, just remember around the bezel wit the clock and ac vents and controls there are clips holding that in so becareful or you will lose alot of those small metal clips, BTW what kind of dvd player did you get?

To me that DVD player's just icin' on the cake for my system now. I'll put some pics, maybe even a video, on here after I do some more details tommarrow morning. Thanks for the advice though bro.

Nice choice! I hope mine goes that long without any issues too. I'm about 30 minutes away from Orlando in a small town called Titusville. It's pretty chill, but we're always havin' to go to Orlando or Melborne or Daytona or...lol...if we want to have a lil' fun. I've passed through V.A a few times myself, it's sweet there too.
Here's a picture of it all done...like I said earlier, I still have some small details (like the trim piece) to do, but you get the jif. Not bad for a do-it-yourselfer!
Looks Good Lucky that those JVC double din units comes with the mounting sleeve plus there units are easy to bypass the parking break. Yeah Titusville is str8 orlando I always had something to do, I plan on driving downt to fla sometime in the summer.

Thanks, and actually I didn't use the sleeve at all. If I would of used it, the whole player would stick an inch or so out of the console, so I made some custom brackets to secure the player to the inside of the cavity (sorda like how the original factory head unit was secured). The only issue now is that I may have to shave the top part of the cavity down to make room for the head units trim piece so it sits flush.A couple of buddies and I went over to Church street in Orlando last night in my car, and everything worked just fine with the bypass, the picture was clear and the sound was awesome, especially with subs! The whole car would shake if an explosion went off or something, it was sweet. The only downside of this whole project is now I want to get monitors for the back of the headrests! lol I'll have to finish up them small details next weekend when I get the time though.Take it easy Dj Low Proz, and have a safe trip back to the 407 this summer.
thats whats up chruch street is cool, but on sat nights me and boys go do some street racing out in the boonies. Yeah looking at the picture i see that it does look like a bracket my bad lol. What kind of sub and amp do you have? I have the kicker zx1000.1 pushing a 15inch Kicker CVX, my doors i have the Kicker KS components 6inch fronts 5 1/4 components in the rears getting a Eclipse 4 channel for them soon, Then its Rims time 17inches all black.

Exactly! You're always in for a good time when you're in that area, especially when you're with some of your good homies that won't let ya do nuttin' stupid...alone that is. You only got one life so you better live it up!
I'm almost afraid to shave that cavity down though, I don't know, I'll think of something...
15 incher! Bet that hits real hard in your Reno! Right now I have two 12'' Kenwood KFC's in a custom box that I made for them and they're gettin' pushed by a Sony XM-2200GTX amp for now, but I got these two new Alpine SWR-1222D that I'll be exchanging the Kenwoods for and another Sony amp in my workshop that I'll be adding to the mix soon as well. I wanna sell my Kenwoods first,so that's why the Alpine's aren't in yet. This is also why I was askin' how I could see what amperage my amps were putting out, I had to make sure I was givin' them Alpine's enough juice. As far as the door speakers go, I have Infinity's Reference 6020cs for the fronts and Infinity Reference 5020cs in the back. They were a pretty penny in the end, but they're so worth it. That's why I said that DVD players just icing on the cake, you know?! lol
Nice! I got 17'' chromies right now, but I too am looking for some new shoes...below are ONE of the choices I'm thinkin' 'bout. They're 18''ers though, and to go with this "blacked out" theme, I also have a can of that Nite Shades that I'll be using to tint my tailights and side markers. It'll look mean.
Man, I got soooo much to do and so little extra time and money to do it with! lol Oh well, it is what it is! I'll make it happen piece by piece.
So, I was so proud of my work that I decided to take this video of it to show ya...lol...the sound quality isn't the best with my camera phone, so in person of course it's better. Let's just say, I've been pulled over a few times for disturbing the peace! Ha Ha! Love it! And uh, I feel kinda selfish just talkin' bought mines, throw some pics of yours if ya have any! I'd love to see it!
