Yes sir, they do look good! It looks like he just put the rings around the bezels, seems easy, but I know it's not. Guess I'll just have to wait until they produce some after market heads for these cars. And that's a no go on setting the unit back...so trimming the trim piece is my only option now unless I let the head unit stick out a few inches, but that would look sloppy. Aight Dj Low Proz, give me a week or so and I'll hopefully be able to post some pics/vids of my newly finished mods that'll I'll be tackling this weekend. 'Til then, you take it easy,best of luck with your projects, and I know it's hard with all them haters, but try to stay outta trouble with ya ride homie!! lol Lata'.

Ight take your time you might have to make a custom trim from abs plastic, But be eazy down there in the sunshine state

That was easy! lol Not too bad for a first timer huh?! They came out glossy and nothin' bad happened to them. Well I guess that's one task down, two more to go! I also debadged her while I was waiting for the lights to dry...

Damn that looks nice, what kind of spray did you used? I was thinking about debadging my car also after seeing how easy it was to do watching my boy do it to his crossfire, But i wanted to black them out instead im still open to suggestions, And I will have to hold off on some of my projects just lost my new job but im still getting paid for the rest of the month.

For the tails I used a can of that VHT Nite Shades, and to debadge her, I just used some Goo-Be-Gone and dental floss. I love the clean look that debadging gives. I got a homeboy that actually put L.E.D's behind his badges, but that's not my style,too flashy. :/ I still have to buff the tails and were the badges were, but overall, I'm very pleased with the results. She's stealthy lookin' from the back now, and soon she'll be like that in the front. Man, sorry to hear 'bout your job bro...but at least you're still gettin' paid. Do nothing and still get paid, sounds like my kind of job! Keep ya chin high and you'll get through it.

true my boy crossfire is also black he used windex to get rid of the residue, but yeah ima look in to that I want to smoke out those side lights on the sides of the bumper that comes on when you turn your headlights on, also still worried about 5.0 trying to pull a brah over for illegal tints on tail-lights, but i havent been pulled over for hids and them jokers are bright at night haha can spot a cop a mile away trying to post up. Now all u need is some black rims then your car will be come the black knight haha...yeah I aint really tripping im just going to chill for a couple of days then back on my grind on monday

I never worry 'bout the cops, if they get me,they get me. I'm gonna buy another can so I can do my side markers,like what you were talking about, and then I'm gonna hit up my heads...then once I sell my current rims, I'll go ahead and get them black and chrome rims. I even looked into getting a new lisence plate that said RIDN DRTY! Ha Ha That be the final touch. lol
Yeah bro, good luck with the job search...gotta get back on that game so you could start makin' some green again!

I can only hope that she'll be a neck breaker once I'm through with her, plus I gotta make sure that I can compete with your whip once you come rollin' back into town this summer! lol Yeah I did, I ended up having to shave the top part of the trim ring to get it to work...but once I did that it looked awful with the different un-even shades of black (I hada cut it with a Saws saw), so I sanded it down, smooth'd it out, and re-painted it the same black gloss color that it was oringinally. It looks tight now, much better than seeing them metal clips and stuff you know?! Small details like that unfinished trim piece bug the heck out of me if I know they're there. Oh, I also took out my Kenwoods and replaced them with my Alpines too yesterday...I didn't hook both amps up yet, but bro, I don't think I need to. For the first time ever,I actually had a big headache coming home from school with dem things! No joke,I couldn't turn it up past 32 for long at all and my JVC head unit goes up to 50! lol My poor car...she don't stand a chance no more. Ha Ha How long you been DJ-ing LP, if you don't mind me asking? I hear it's harder than it looks.
