Default Removing Stock Head Unit of '07 Reno

Hello,

I have inquired on this before and the responses I have gotten are typical and understandable:

"Check the forums there is something on that already"

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find that information. Now I did find an old posting in regards to doing so on a '05 Forenza/Reno. Are these still the same steps?

http://www.suzuki-forums.com/general...5-forenza.html

All I am asking is for anyone to either provide updated information, or confirm if these steps are applicable to the '07 Reno.

Thanks,

Nathan

This is how it is done,

Thank you Tallkid for posting this.

Although I think with a angle screw driver, stubby, ratchet or wrench all those screws that hold the tempreture selector, and the flow selector cable brackets in can be pulled out with out removing the glove box or the driver side kick panel.

Thanks again,

Also, I haven't tried it yet but I was thinking that there is no real need to disconnect the brackets that hold the cable sheathing to the framing. I was thinking that you could theoretically just slip the cables of the actuators and have all the play needed, about 10 inches, to pull the trim A/C control assembly off, and slide the head unit out. Do you think that might work?

Thanks,

Nope that don't work still had to remove the brackets that hold the cabling on.
