Hi! I just put a 8 inch Bazooka with 100 watt amp built in. I put it in a Reno but should be close enough. So if you still need info let me know.

No dont waste your money on a Bazooka. Even if you go to shop and get a nice sub installed for you it will be worth the money. If you want we can talk about what subs would be good for you,

now i know that the bazooka tubes got a bad rep, and if you have one your an **** ricer. but you know what **** all that ive got one in my reno and its the perfect amount of bass. my last car i had the big 12's with 1000 watts flowing and alls i could hear was the bass. the bazooka tube IS a good choice. Just right to add a little more umph to your stock stereo. besides why waste so much money on something so loud, unless your in it to impress. but im not hear to show off my trunk distortion, but to be able to enjoy the music i play while in my car. so i will have to back my friend here and state that the bazooka tube is a good investment.

Personally I dont like the bass they give up. If you getting one because they are cheap look closer into subs/amps. You can put togather a great setup for cheap.

I never said to get a competition set up. You could get a nice alpine type E that is only 250 watts which will nicely compliment your music. I am just sayin look around, there is a reason why Bazookas are what factories put into their cars, they are cheap. Just look around, there are plenty of subs with 250 or less watts that will sound extremely nice .

I also have had 2x12's and all the power they could handle sure it's nice. Now I'm getting older I have a wife and a 12 year old. I just needed to fill in the low end of the factory stereo so I put a Bazooka in our ride. It worked out perfect. It fills in and blends just great. I have spent a lot more and not been as happy. So I say if you don't have alot to spend try it. You can always sell it on ebay.

okay so the bazooka tube was fairly inexpensive. but its all in one. and dont worry i was going to go with the big fancy. i was on the verge of buying a jl 10" comp and a 2000 watt amp together for about 1000.00 i was going to custom a box with my brother who also recently added bump to his ride. fiberglass and all. I had the money ready and everything. then one of my cowrokers at the friendly brown box showed me his 8" two hundred watt bazooka tube. i was determined at the time that it was a p.o.s. put then he turned up the volume. it surprised me. then i did some research, and ended up with the bazooka tube. besides if theyre such shitty units, than why do they sell so well?

They're compact. Perfect for the averg person that just wants a little bit better sound. I dont think they sound bad.. I just dont like the bass they produce. It's all personal opinion.

Wow, who ever told you to give 2000 watts to a single JL, dont care what model, it would have blown. They sell so well because they are a cheap sub and most people dont do enough research to find out what else is out there. I would take 2 8" RE res over 2 bazookas. It depends if you want SQ or SPL>
