Question Performance parts for a 2006 manual Forenza

First off I'm new to this site. Sixteen, and worked on car a little with my dad throughout my life, but mainly more drag type cars or muscle cars, so these type cars are more new to me. But I want to be a WeekEnd Warrior on this car. The car is a 2006 5sp manual Suzuki Forenza sedan.

My dad bought the car when it came out, he said he got "the sports package" nothing really that changes the performance, a wing, a chrome bolt on tip that he lost(then bought one of the glow-in-the-dark tips thats on now), and most of the inside is done in carbon fiber, only most because Suzuki didnt bother to put it on all the alloy(I think thats what comes in them).

But anyways next month I get my license and wanted to know if there are any easy mods, or any parts I can buy to make it more of a loud tuner.

All the mods so far - he made it Ram-Air, and a exhaust tip, wing, and thats about it.

I've read a lot of the forums and I don't want to have to order parts if possible because I'm only 16 and no way of paying for it. So like Napa, or Advance Auto Parts, or places that i could find locally would be best. But if not I'm sure I can just pay my dad.

I looked on Evofusion or something like that, and they had/have people waiting on their cat-back, and idk if they have even got it yet, so please only tell me about places YOU know are reliable, and don't seem like a scam or make me wait a year for anything.

Any help would be nice

Oh whats better CAI or Ram-Air? Any turbos, chips for the computer, best exhaust, any weight reductions?, a possible way to get a 6speed, clutch, body kits, bigger wing, things like that is what I'm looking for, or anything else that will make it look better, sound better, or perform better.

Thanks for all the help

there really isnt anything you can just pick up at a local store for our cars. gotta order it, also going 6 speed is an option; albeit a pain in the ass one. (need to import the f28 transmission from Europe) you can boost on factory power train but i would push it past 6 pounds. and ram air is probably a little bit better ide think. and not to criticize, dont make your car loud and annoying, for two reasons. Its dumb, also a 16 year old driving a car that looks fast with a loud exhaust is a cop magnet, trust me i had a civic with an exhaust leak when i was 17. but since it seems you have no means of payment, you would need to custom make everything or have your parents order for you.

Lawl I do have a job, so i have a means of income.

1. The f28 is the only way to get a 6speed? like their isn't any other little tinker toys that have 6speeds like Honda's? or everyone use a 5?

2. and in like a month or so I'm planing on making/buying a cat-back or something to make it loud, I personally LOVE loud cars, I've grown up with massive cars, and my dad has a 1989 GTA Trans-Am with a 350 and its pure muscle and loud. I also have a 1970 Chevy Chevelle and it needs a lot of work, like years, and we had the engine running in it, and it was a beast of an engine, 350chevy with a Vemon carb, eldabrock manifold, hooker headers. it was amazing, then he priced how much the 350 turbo tranmition gearbox and all the panels and gas tank that we needed, and thats when we decided that it would be easier and almost cheaper to get a new car and thats when he got the Suzuki. So I want it to be as loud as possible, since I should be in a 1970 Chevelle thats just sitting in my back yard :/

3. I read that 3a exhaust system is really good, really good or just crap?

4. is there any way to upgrade the powertrain thats on it so i dont mess anything up but can push like 12lb, or will i have to get like a different engine and tranny and stuff?

5. and where do i get the turbo anywhere?

wasn't saying you didn't have a job, just online payment generally requires credit cards, and generally banks don't give credit cards to minors.

you got a forenza instead of getting that heavy chevy on the road?! the 70 velle is the baddest one ever made i would kill for one, especall red with the black SS srtipes and the 454 and muncie M22 4 spd. i would have gone with the 70 all day long

haha believe me, when I found out we weren't going to fix it i was so mad and sad, lol. the carb we have for it was like 2500+ >.> and now it sits in the shed, really all it needs is a gas tank, alot of frame support, a gear box, and maybe a tranny and drive train. the rusted panels could be replaced at another time, but with the engine we have with it(only a 350 but runs like a 402 if not better, it has a huge cam, and all that other stuff) would twist the frame in two lol. but after i get the suzuki how i want it i'm going to start restoring it

i cant wait for that lol, but i might just gut it and make a drag car but if i did that i'd want a 454 stroker with supercharger, bahahaha say 1/4th in like 8 or less probably

^^i think thats why i'm not getting it yet lmao^^

but does the suzuki have 2 headers or 1? or does it even have headers? lol I'm so new to tinker toys >.<

because i want 2 exhaust(like "true duel" or even 2 tips if possible) on it, and i've never seen one done like that, is it even possible with these cars?

the forenza is a four cylendar. it has stock exhaust header. putting dual exhaust on the car isnt really a good idea. to much added weight. you would probably also loose power. you could do a dual tip set up if you wanted. the car is definitly not american muscle. your not going to get the same power or sound out of it. pick up some import magazins or search online/forum and do some reading. that will give you a good idea of what your dealing with
