Just came back from the dealer - diagnosed with a leaking head gasket. He did the hydrocarbon test in the coolant with an indicator dye. Plus I'm losing about a cup of coolant every 500km. And I've got a cold start ignition issue (no white smoke but lots of misfires). So sounds like it probably the correct diagnosis.
Now about the new gasket. I'm searching around and found this for the Nubira 2002 X20 X22SE engines :

Can anyone confirm that this will fit my 2004 Optra Ls (or 2004 Forenza for you US folks). Dealer wants 300bucks just for parts alone.
I just bought this car in a private sale and am trying to make the most of this mistake
