Default Custom Cai?????

hey guys

i just bought rims so kinda low on cash but i wanna get a cai
now i wont have enough money for a bms one so i was just thinkin to buy a pod and connect it to the stock piping we have now....iv seen a couple of cars do this and they said it worked fine but iv lost the threads lol

so what do u guys think.......it will be alot cheaper and ill still get the sucking noise just lett the bigg price tag and lil bit of performance from the bms which is only 5%(nothing)

something like these

i was thinkin of just takin the lid of the second box and placing the pod inside the box with no lid!

what do u guys/girls think???

peace

vivaaa aka dan

You want your intake to be close behind the head light, or even extended down behind the fender. I think if you put the filter right above the engine, you'll get alot of hot air. And if your talking about puttin the filter in the stock air box, then you will probably still get a bit of warm air but not as bad. Search up google, i have seen alot of people use pvc piping to create a cold air intake. But the gains are probably minimal.
