yup, there are two plugs on the transmission one for fill and one for drain.

Both have a 8 MM (metric) square drive tool needed to remove them.

The fill one is just above the motor mount/transmission mount on the back near where the long driveshaft somes out of the transmission, you gotta put the car on jack stands or need access to a lift, the car needs to be level while you fill the tranny.

I've tried three times to make a tool for removing this plug so that I could change my tranny oil but without any luck. If anyone else could provide suggestions on this, that would be great.

there is a service manual for the Chevrolet lacetti floating around that describes how to fill and drain the transmission and a part # for the specialty tool you'll need (8mm square drive).

Hope this helps.

k thx my brother-in-law took a look at it and was able to put the tranny fluid in while i was at work. he's a mechanic and said he has done it on other models so i guess he just brought over something from his shop to help. thats where i thought the plug was but i couldn't reach it.

thank you for the measurements
