Cool Forenza Mods Mods Mods...

Hello I have an '04 Forenza base model automatic. Its exterior is kind of beat up, and I got it for pretty cheap. The interior and engine are still in pretty good condition. So I was asking this to the great and powerful internet... Are there any good (cheap-ish) mods out there that you would recommend for me? And are there even any worth doing to an automatic. I was thinking of maybe exhaust, intake, pullys or something to boost performance, or make it look a little more sleek like a lip kit or something of that sort. preferably on the cheap.

also are the parts for the Chevy Optra good for a forenza too?

First off, Welcome to the forum Dans.

performance wise talk to kinkyllama or gse turbo. They have CAI, UD pullies, etc...

For lip kits the only place i have found is (i found from a member on this forum)
www.evofusionusa.com Your Leader in Performance

If you look around for a little while on here then you will find all sorts of stuff.

It sounds like the car has a few miles -- one of the best places to start is to do some maintenance to get the car up to its top potential before moving forward.

I highly recommend a throttle body cleaning, cleaning the injectors, and maybe converting to synthetic oil. Cleaning the throttle body is a noticeable bump in go.

Depending on your mileage, maybe plugs too. Air filter too, if you don't know when it was last serviced.

Welcome!

welcome dans

i also recently join here too, but as of right now i'm saving to start putting some money into my forenza as well.

quick question for those out there that might know.

is the evo fusion body kit better to go w/ or the lip kit? i currently own an 05 forenza and have been thinking about either one. the shipping isn't too much of a problem if they will let me go pick it up from their warehouse. its only about an hr drive or so.

Better go to with in what way?

The OEM made kits (lip kits) will always have a better fit. I have a few of those in stock and they are very very clean looking when I hold it up to my foreno.

well i'm talking the quality. i know the lip kits would have a better fit, and do the newer lip kits fit the 05 models? i'm still quite undecided about which i want to go with right now like i said.

The KDM OEM lip kits will be the best quality.

The lip kits should fit all years because the only difference is in the hood and grill area. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
