I read the whole thing and i'm still confused. lol the only thing i can find about the M32 trannys are usually just brief mentions with the other F series trannys. I have no idea what cars used them, what cars they will or won't mount to. It's very perplexing. However it says Precision Boost has one. lol the elusive solution to the Tranny problem? I would love to find one of these things and mount it up.
there is one thing you need to know, that is that the "M32" isn't the transmission code. that is the number that manufacturer uses to as a sort of reference in their parts lists, there is a term for it but I can't think right now.
...i again wish i knew more german but it looks to me that it will bolt up to at least a few members of our block family. The F40 will fit too but i don't think anyone is running one yet. I wonder how hard it is to find either one of them and bring them to the states.
I've got a line on Opel parts out of Holland, I have an F28 already converted available for $1150, I'll have to check on postage. it's got about 80,000 on it.
it sucks that the dallor is doing so bad! three months ago the price was around $900!
this is true, the economy will rebound though, it always does. I bet it happens right after we get monkey boy out of the oval office. I don't care who goes in it but wow, i've lost respect as an american when he talks.

so the details on the M32 Transmission are that it's a 6 speed rated to handle about 380 ft/lbs of torque, it is in the Astra VXR and a brand new one cost about 3 grand but you can definately get them cheaper in the UK. Shipping hurts the wallet too. You need to have some one make the Mounts but that's not that critical.
Also Chris(Precision Boost) said that if you wanted to have a Bell Housing Adapter made you could use something like the SRT-4 tranny which is rated to handle 400 ft/lbs of torque. I guess it really just depends on what number you wanna hit to decide what tranny to go for.
