I own a 2004 Forenza and the car is a piece of $#@% its been in the shop 12 times in the 33 months that I've owned it. 9 times for the check engine light on. Its always evap leak YES I'm tighting the gas cap. No I'm not happy, Is there any light at the end of the tunnel.
I've already talked to the Ohio Attorney General, and action is taking place. The worse part is that I found out while researching the car(I bought it new) that it had been in the shop to be fixed 3 times before 50 miles. 1 check engine light, 2 gas pump, 3 the plugs were fouled out after 41 miles. They never said anything about it??? I wouldn't take a Suzuki of any kind from them. Its kinda funny that they never mentioned the dispute center until after the 36months were up. When in doubt just say NO
my bet is that some dumbass put diesel in it or somethin...all those are fuel related...maybe the ECM is making the AFR too lean?? maybe the fuel pump went bad from some kind of messed up fuel or fuel-additive that they used...
it's impossible to say you have a defective car. there are so many parts that are on it that come off different assembly lines. someone screwed up on inspection or something somewhere or crossed some wires.

Wow. Other then there reputation that's really stupid to have sold anyone that car after those problems within 50miles. It's obviously the cars a lemon, unless someone just really screwed it up like tallkid said. The stupid part for them is they would obisouly be doing allot of warranty work on that car before the warrantys up
It seems as Suzuki has had a change of heart. Got a phone call from Chris in Chicago and offered to buy the car back. We did file a case with the Attorney General for the state Ohio and also with the National center for arbitration. Thanks to all who advised and all who loaned me their ear. No I won't be buying another Suzuki Thanks again
I'n not buying a honda I'm looking at either the Chevy Canyon or the nissan frontier not sure which is better. I really just want a couple of trouble free years out of either.
