I plan to use stock axles with the F28 (as you and several others have said they'll fit) and we'll see how much power they can take. No point replacing stuff until u find the limit IMO.

I would think Carbon Fiber would flex to much. I have seen them on RWD cars and they work well, But a FWD car????

if you can put a CF driveshaft on a RWD "race" car, then why couldn't you use CF shafts on a FWD with 200-300hp?

I think the stress would be to much. The front driveshafts have to cope with moving the car, steering the car, and stoping the car. Plus they are attached to the wheel itself. Thats alot to ask.

Steering the car? the driveshafts don't have anything to do with that. Stopping power is provided by the brakes at the rotor/caliper and also doesn't have anything to do with the shafts.

Think about it.... if you upgraded to some extreme performance brakes, would you be in risk of breaking your axles under hard deceleration?
