if you want to be a true sleeper go no intake, no exhaust. keep that bad boy quiet so nobody has a clue. the only thing they'll see is your rims and your drop(if you don't want your car to squat 6" when you take off).

my suggestion is to stiffen everything up so you get your power to the ground. suspension and motor mounts do more than what people believe. i'd do ECU, internals, UD pulley, and ignition. at that point, your stock intake and exhaust will be your bottleneck. if you want to keep it quiet, id get a few resonators, but maybe 2.5" pipe to keep up with the flow. don't have a loud/flashy muffler(hide it if you can). the intake portion is hard to say i dont think there's a way to keep that quiet.

your wheels are 4 lug at 114mm. 17's should fit fine as long as you don't have a goofy offset on them. 42ish is what mine are and they fit great.

if i had a deep pocket, i'd love to have a sleeper. if you want a super quiet exhaust, i can help you out

it wont be as high flowing as you might want, but it would be quiet.

ideally....
Kinky header or OE header w/ SPT test pipe
2.5"(maybe bigger) piping
high flow cat and a bung after it for your 2nd o2 sensor
1 vibrant performance ultra quiet resonator(or 2 if you want it super quiet)
a turbo muffler with baffles...it might be slower flowing, but it will reduce noise more than a bazooka

If you wanted a sleeper I would just have a one of those open dump things where you press a botton and the exhaust opens up

Resonator on the exhaust, and replacing the cat may help as well.

As far as 2.25" piping goes I have that with my exhaust and with normal every day driving it does make noise, but its more on level with the exhaust from the G35 or the 350Z or the M3 somewhat. But as soon as you gas it and hit 3,500 RPM's it will make somewhat of a race car sound. Granted I only have the CAI and cat back for now so the noise may change with other mods, but I though I would mention this as I have 2.25" piping.

i forgot about those. the new corvettes have them. you could attach it to your throttle body or have an electronic switch or something. that would be a good idea.

its an exhaust cut out. its like a y pipe attached after the header under the car. you used to have to climb under the car and unbolt a cover manually but lately they are making them push button operated. apexi sells one for likie $150 i think. push a button and the exhaust changes from running through you cats and mufflers to straight into the open air. i doubt the new corvette has one because there kind of iligal except for use on sertain tracks. but i could be wrong

new ZO6 Corvettes have muffler bypasses that are not like the clutouts you guys speak of. The Z06 still always runs thru the cats and rest of th eexhaust system.
