Default Grounding

Can I get some pics of how/where you guys have done this? I have the wire and the terminals, but i'm unsure where to connect the wires. has anyone done the alternator positive to batt positive on their reno/forenza? i know what i'm doing, but i'd rather see where everyone else has put them because there might be some secret location that i don't know about...

pics please!

Never do that, locate other grounds like engine block, head, trans, and firewall better if you see some some grounds united there is a perfect spot.....

i did a quick job today before work and i definitely noticed a difference. I didn't think i would, so it surprised me. i seem to have more engine response and the lag from my fly-by-wire is pretty much gone! i grounded the body (just to the right of the battery) and i brought the alternator output(positive) to the positive on the battery. I have yet to find a group of grounds on the engine, but i'll bet pretty much anywhere would work...

i was told that if i ground one of the cylinder head bolts, i'd get a better spark. it makes sense, doesn't it? the plug wires only go one way, the electricity has to go somewhere. that somewhere is across the gap and then to a ground, right?

i used 4 gauge wire and rockford fogsgate terminals(platinum coated). i didn't do a very pretty job on my soldering, but all it really needs to do is hold the wire in place. i crimped the terminals on as tight as i could in my vise beforehand to ensure a good connection and put the wire under other wires so it isn't right in your face when i pop my hood...i might take pics tomorrow.

one is to the right of the battery (body to ground on battery) and the 2nd one is from the positive on the battery to the alternator. theres a rubber cap(protects it from corrosion and accidental grounding) pretty easy to find. it's on the back of the alternator, which is on the passenger side of the car(because it's pulley driven).
