FYI -

Duratec powered Focus (Foci) have 2 cats and all the Long Tube headers eliminate it. They make max hp/tq without the 1st cat and keeping the 2nd one. Not like 5oh knows what to look for, especially with Suzuki's. With another high profile compact, I might think twice about it.

This one ISNT one of them, don't worry about it.

Just don't drive around like a 16 year old who just got his lisense and you won't have a problem.

I suggest putting it back to stock when it comes time for a smog check but I doubt ANY of you are going to keep the car long enough to even worry about that. First test come up in 5 years after purchase in California. Even my SRT-4 isn't due for another 2 years.

Uh your worng. It depends on the county your in. For me its every 2 years as I live in Orange County. So unless you have info that would trump county laws I have a smog check comming December 2007. And I plan on having my car for 5 to 8 years depending on what happens down the road, but I will have the car for at least 5 years. I do like getting my money out of a high ticket items, and the more money I spend the longer I keep them around and use them.

Emmissions check was every year in NY and it's every year here in NC too. <_<

So there's no way I'm screwing with it every single year. ...lol

Simply put huecobros, a header is what connects your engine to your exhuast. It's usually one solid piece with four tubes going through it.......or something to that nature, i'm not very good at explaining things

Open your hood up and then look straight down to the front of the engine. You see where theres a sign that says hot with a hand on the metal, that is a header.
