The headers from intimidator are about $330usd, you can choose from 4-1 or 4-2-1 style:

I thought our stock headers were pretty good, no? I mean unless one goes turbo, as yourself, is there really a reason to change out headers?

I signed anyway, cause I believe we should get as MUCH aftermarket support as we can. But personally, headers are low on the mod list for me.

I havnt really looked at our headers and I dont know if they aftermarket ones remove that first small cat. But no matter what there are gains to be made. Headers seam to be one of the better things to change the powre band to your taste.

Ah the "pre-cat" (as the guy from the muffler shop called it). I was told that removing that thing would screw with my emissions so I left it alone.

But NC might be different. I'll have to check the laws. Might be able to get away with more...

I would be interested though, if someone has already removed theirs, if they still pass emissions.

I could see though, that there would be some power to be gained by removing it. I just couldn't see much power to be gained from the headers themselves. I think the stock ones are already like 2".

Would be nice to go 2 1/4" and then a whole tuned system back from there. Hi-flow cat, possibly a different muffler. Although I kinda like mine, so that might stay...heh
