I killed my turn signals and flashers while trying to troubleshoot my lack of AC.

The AC pump clicks. The pipe leading to the condenser coil is hot, leading me to believe I've got freon flowing.

The fan doesn't spin. I never showed current when I hooked my meter. The passenger side works fine.

As to the turn signals & hazard lights, anyone know where the relay is? Also, I saw a post on the forums saying a single blown bulb kills them all. Any truth to that?

So its been a while and i have yet to get rid of my suzuki like i said i was a long time ago >.> anyways i still have it and recently the oil pan gasket blew out. so i take it to the shop and they say i have a LARGE amount of pressure building up internally in the motor. i was like wtf??? and they were like yea.... they changed out my pan gasket for me and they said that it could be any number of things. but i want to know what could possibly be causing this before i go spending thousands of dollars on this worthless car to have it fixed.

its a 2007 Forenza 40,xxx miles with bms intake and 2.25 exhaust, not that any of that should make the pressure build up.

Hey all I know I haven't been around much. But I got a question for ya. Basically I got into a minor accident where I rear ended another car and the only damage so far is my bumper. The bumper has popped out so that there is now small gaps under the headlights. There is no other damage to the bumper at all. The front and sides are still securely attach to the car, I even jiggle it some and the bumper did not move like it was detach from the frame at all.

My question is since I more than likely need to replace it, can a repair shop just reattach the bumper or do they have to get a new one to attach? I can post pictures of the bumper.

Oh by the way this is my first accident ever, and I am glad it was a minor one. No air bag deployment and no outright physical damage to the person's car that I hit(which means more than likely I be paying nothing and just doing paper work). And before you ask I did exchange info as well as take pictures of both bumpers. The person did call the police which really did nothing seeing that we where both being civil about it and I was not contesting anything and admitting fault.

Hi there, my first post on here.

I'm working on a '04 Forenza and like the post says won't start after that work. When installing the timing belt I put the mark on the crank (not the circle on the pulley) with the mark on the lower cover and the marks on the cam in the with the spots on the valve cover. It has fuel pressure but no spark, and ran a compression check (#1: 100psi #2: 125psi #3 100psi #4:90 psi) its signs of a timing issue to me but I'm at a loss. Is it possible the crank is 180 out??? I know some dodges if the crank & cam sensor are not in sync it won't fire the ignition.

Is there anything obvious I'm missing???
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!!

Allow me to preface by saying that I am not very car savvy, so I probably won't use all of the correct terminology, and I apologize for that.

I bought a used 2005 Suzuki Forenza in June of 2007. For over three years, my car has had repeated stalling issues. I have taken it to the dealership from which I purchased the vehicle as well as two Suzuki-specific dealerships COUNTLESS times, and no one is able to resolve this issue. It seems like all of the repairs that have been made were nothing more than temporary fixes.

Currently, my car stalls when braking/idling. I've noticed that my RPMs are extremely erratic when braking/idling, and I assume that my car is shutting off the fuel supply when the RPMs jump above where they're supposed to be when braking. This obviously leads to trembling in the vehicle before it eventually stalls. I can sometimes avoid this by giving the car a little bit of gas or letting off of the brake, but that's not always feasible at a stop light or in traffic. The car seems much more likely to stall when I am running the AC. Also, this rarely happens when I am driving at lower speeds. It happens most frequently when I am driving on the expressway for a period of time and then slow down or come to a stop. When I am driving at higher speeds and let my foot off of the gas, I sometimes notice that the RPMs drop rapidly, actually causing the vehicle to "jolt."

I am trying to determine what is causing this problem. I have paid an exorbitant amount of money to have it fixed, and no one is resolving the issue!

To give you some background, my car has approximately 80,000 miles.

If anyone has advice for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

I had my 2005 Forenza in today for 60,000 mile maintenance. I did everything except the timing belt and spark plugs (trying to spread it out so not to bankrupt myself; made an appointment with the dealer before I left to get them done in 3 more weeks). The thing is, my transmission has been acting funny for the last few weeks. It revs high on acceleration, sometimes seems to get stuck at 2000 rpms and resists going higher even when I feel like it should, and something about it just feels off. (sorry - I am admittedly a clueless female when it comes to cars - I don't even know the difference between first, second and third gear. I know, I know!) It's never been the smoothest ride but now it's really obvious. I had the Suzuki techs check it today and they said it looked fine - I didn't even need a drain and fill or a flush. Got my oil change and everything else that it needs at 60k except for the belt and spark plugs. But when I got my paperwork back, they had written that I needed a new vacuum hose to the throttle body. I don't recall the tech telling me that when he called to let me know the tranny was OK. The car was still shifting weird as I drove it home and when I got home I did a little research and it seems this could possibly be causing my shifting issues. Is that right? Any idea how much it might be to replace the vacuum hose?

Of course, my shifting issues could also be caused by the spark plugs, right? I had the infamous leaking valve cover gasket, which also got replaced today, but doesn't that mean my spark plugs could be covered with oil? Could that cause the weird shifting too?

Hey you guys helped me out before when I had a problem, so I thought you might be able to help with this too. Just the other day this happened, my key got stuck in the ignition. I could not get it out for the life of me. I finally just kept moving my steering wheel, and shift stick and it finally came out.

Now everytime I turn off the car I have to keep moving my shift stick for it to come out. Now when I turn on the car it takes a while to put into reverse. Like the brake isn't being help down. It seems to be getting worse and worse each day.

Is this a serious expensive problem?

Thanks for your help
