Hi...newbie here.

Have received conflicting info from two dealerships about whether my 2007 FWD Manual SX4 needs the Service B. One says it's only for the AWD and/or Automatic so stick with Service A...other one says you need it.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks.

2010 speedometer compatibility

Hey, I had a look at the new 2010 SX4 and it has a pretty sweet speedometer, It has a bunch more on it, like displaying which gear you are in and temp an so on. I am sure that if I were to install it in my 2008 those things would not be displayed, which is fine with me. What I want to know is if it would connect and display at least the milage and that the speedo' and the tacho' would work...

Does anyone know if the connection is compatible? I would love to get one for mine!

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide! =)

2008 SX4 Locked Me Out!

This morning I went to get in my car and found all of the doors locked. Unfortunately, since it was in my garage, I could see the keys on the passenger seat. Could I have brushed the lock on my way out the night before, sure, regardless I went inside, grabbed the spare set leaned out the door, pushed the unlock button and heard the doors unlock and the lights flash. I put the keys away and went to the car to get in and the doors were locked. What the heck? Got the spares again and ran a test. If you unlock the doors and do not proceed to open a door, they lock back up in 30 seconds. Is this normal?

Now I don't know if my lock out last night was a brush with the driver's manual lock or a messed up locking system.

We are looking to put on seat covers for our '09 SX4, but am concerned with the arm rests. Any suggestions for companies / novelty is okay.

Canada, Ontario area.

We have 2 dogs that probably will not see the back very often, but just in case. We will be using the cargo area and definitely folding down the back seats.

Thx

Shoot me straight and honest on this thought

I am looking at maybe picking up an 2008 SX4 CROSSOVER< AWD automatic. the for a sales number of around $13,500, this is a new car.
What I am looking for is a reliable vehicle with decent MPG for maybe a few road trips, running around in town from time to time. I feel pretty sure the vehicle will handle these tasks.
However, I would also like to be able to make use of it for trips down to our ranchland and check the cattle. The roads going in can be pretty slick and muddy after some rain. Othere than the low center of ground clearance, would this be a situation that this SX4 could handle with the AWD?
Now for one last question, I ain't no little guy, and have yet to try on this little Crossover. But say a guy with a slim build of well, let't say 6 foot and 250 pounds, will he fit and be able to find a comfortable driving postion?
Thanks

1987 Suzuki Samuari Will Not Idle.

I have recently bought a 1987 Suzuki Samurai, and love driving it around. The only thing that I do hate about the car is that it will not idle. Anytime I let the RPS's get anywhere around 0, it will die. This will include when I just start up my car, pull up to a stop light, or even breaking. I have to do all of the above with my left foot on the clutch, and my right foot hitting both the breaks and accelerator, so the rpm's do not fall too low. I just got a new air filter, spark plugs, spark plugs hoses, distributor cap, and rotor(I think it is called), that goes inside the distributor cap. I have been told my many people that it could be a vacuum problem, but I am also looking for any other reasons it may be occurring. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. This is the most annoying thing I've every dealt with!

Thanks

Just bought an sx4 "sport" sedan with the 5 speed manual transmission. I just got it the other day and I noticed that when I come to a stop and place the car in neutral that the engine feels like it is going to stall (the gear is in neutral). As soon as I put it in gear and remain stopped its fine. Is this normal for the SX4? Any suggestions on what may be causing this and if I should take it into the dealer to have them look at it?

Thanks,
