forenza start issue, engine wont crank over

hi i just bought a 2004 forenza from a friend that was leaving state. I bought it cheap from them because it wasnt running. He thought the auto start was messed up in it. I had the whole auto start removed. I put a new battery in it and went to crank over the engine and all it does is "click" real hard. I have juice getting to everything but it wont even crank over. I had someone turn over the key, and from looking under the hood over by the serpentine belts, all that the pulley system was doing when you "clicked" it over was the belt was moving forward maybe an inch and kicking back. The car has 52xxx miles on it. I am not sure where to look now, the starter bendex seems to be engaging, as you can hear it click over, we turned over the key probably 50 times. The motor wont turn at all. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas of what may be wrong? All I can really think of it either a broken timing belt, as it is an interfierence engine, or maybe the engine seized? My husband attempted to grab the belt system as I cranked it over, hoping that the belt would move but it still didnt budge. I guess you're supposed to be able to turn an engine over by hand if you put a ratched on the crankshaft pulley bolt. We didnt get that far yet. :confused:Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Is There Such Thing As Discount Ugg Boots ?

ugg (http://http//www.uggsaleau.com)Australia boots are very popular, especially as fall turns into winter. Few people think about buying shearling boots in the spring and summer when retailers want to clear out their cold weather inventory. It is often, when the temperatures go down and the holidays are approaching, that we first think about trying to find these boots at a discount. There is no magical discount ugg (http://http//www.uggsaleau.com)boots catalog out there that you can just pick up and find boots at a discount. There are options out there in finding ugg (http://http//www.uggsaleau.com)boots for less than full retail price but you need to make sure that what you are buying are the real thing. ugg (http://http//www.uggsaleau.com)boots are one of the most knocked off shoe out there. Wearing a knockoff that you think looks like the real deal may be ok with you at the time of purchase, but after a few wears of the shoes, you will see why they are so inexpensive. Often the fake shearling wears away and disintegrates. The outer suede is fake and, stains and pills away. The soles of the boots wear away as well. Your feet may be uncomfortable and sweat due to the fakeness and fact that the materials are not breathing. You truly are best off buying the real thing and not having to worry about the hassles and embarrassment that your boots are not real.

I'm trying to get the black delete panels out of the holes where fog lights belong on the front bumper of my reno, and I'm at a total loss as far as how to actually get them out. I can tell that it's being held on by the back, but is it a bolt? A clip? Any insight? Certainly I don't have to remove the bumper for this right?

Suzuki Forenza 2004 - Issues, is it just me or does this sound like a crappy Mercedes

Its common concept around the areas I have lived that if you have a used Mercedes Benz then you probably have 2 of them.. one to drive while the other is in the shop. (no joke)

I have a Suzuki Forenza 2004 and around 30,000miles it has turned into a nightmare.

Heres a list of work thats been done to the car in no order (to the best I can recall them) minus oil changes which have been done religiously every 2900-3400miles

- Stock Tires replaced at 22,000miles (cracks in sidewalls)
- Serpentine belt around 30,000miles (cracked and worn to hell)
- Front Struts (you could fully compress them with no effort with your hands), Front Bushings, Front Hubs, Front Bearings(they were nearly non existent worn down to little pieces of metal and rusted to hell) Somewhere around 40,000miles
- Second set of tires replaced at around 45,000miles
- Driver Side Motor mount replaced due to major cracking around 60,000miles
- Unknown Services Suzuki Dealer was a retard around 60,000miles started shifting hard so dealer updated the computer. This killed my Mpgs from 25-30mpgs down to 10-15mpgs, also dropped my horsepower down at lest 20-40hp. Had them fix it again and never got the power back fully refused to say anything was wrong with it when i know it was only running around 80% of the power it had before I brought it in, but the Mpgs were back so I gave up on them
- Threw Timing belt at 69,000miles one of the nastiest throws my mechanic had seen, idler/tentioners were totally shot! and the cover had to be replaced because the belt destroyed. (Btw I was coasting at 5mph when it happened) This for whatever reason after being fully serviced got my power back to 100% gaining the 20% I lost when the dealer touched it.

I am no Upside down on this car.. (counting tires and not oil changes) I have had around $3500-4000 in service done to the car not counting all the oil changes.

Car Now has 72,000Miles on it.. 3rd Set of Tires nearly bald (last set of tires and this one seam to wear evenly all 4 get worn out at the same time evenly), Back struts are shot one looks like it might be blown, Needs a full break job (although my mechanic is impressed how well they are holding up) not squeaking yet but takes longer to stop/have to push the break harder and there are hot spots in the front disks, Needs Transmission Serviced (never been done), Few random hoses starting to crack under the hood, Motor seams to shake the car a bit when revving up while in first and second gear when taking off from a stop.

This Sound normal to anyone else with 70,000miles ?

2007 Forenza - 0700 code, acceleration issue

2007 Forenza
~40,000 miles

So I was driving home tonight, came to a stop light. Light turns green. I step on the gas. The car accelerated very slow. I notice the engine light is on. I stopped to get gas because it was low, and to see if it would fix itself after turning the car off & back on. Thought maybe it was getting bad gas from the bottom of the tank.

Anyway, the engine light stayed on, but the acceleration seemed fine.

I used my OBD-II scanner to see what was up & it gives me 0700.
Transmission Control System Malfunction

From what I've read, that seems to be a pretty generic error.

A couple weeks ago I was driving on I-95 about 70mph, and noticed the acceleration drop for a second, but it picked back up. I think it did this twice in about an hour time frame.
I haven't noticed it do that since then, until this problem.

Would this be covered under their powertrain warranty?

Is it safe to drive? The dealership is about 25 minutes away.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello,
My daughter just got a 2004 Forenza and it has nasty looking steel wheels with chipped plastic wheel covers. The tires are poor, so we thought we'd replace the wheels while we're getting some new tread.

I have seen the 04-05 forenza alloy wheels and I think they look good.

Please let me know if anyone has a set for a resonable price.
I live in South Carolina, so shipping might be a factor.

Also the CD/Cassette Player lights just went out for some reason,
... Still works and sounds good, just can't read display,.... is this an easy fix or should I look for a replacement?

Thanks.
