So. I recently bought a Chevy tracker. 2002. And I am extremely surprised at how it handles off road. I really want to make t look a little more aggressive though, anybody been able to find a full grille guard or bumper replacement for the 98-02 trackers? Also, I'm possibly thinking of an engine swap. I know the tracker was available with a 2.5 v6. Does that do any better than the 4? Has no real power. Any other easy swap suggestions?

Hi,

Sorry if this post is on here somewhere but i new to all this.

I have a Suzuki Liana 1.6 GL, the engine management light came on once i started my car from about a 15-20 mins wait. The car seems to be fine in all factors, even before the light came on the car was fine. Does any body know of any common faults with these cars as this is my first Suzuki. Just confused to this all as the car does seem fine.

Any help on the matter would be great.

Many thanks

Greetings, Sammi Fans, here's a head-scratcher. I've owned 7 Zuks since 1999. Installed my first fuel pump in Year 2000 and have done 3 other since. No problems whatsoever. We always cary a spare pump and the proper tools, etc.

OK, so I needed to swap a fuel pump yesterday. I did everything just the way I have always done it, especially in checking for low cam for the push rod. Pump mates perfectly to block. I've pulled and reattached the pump 3 times and there are two problems:

1) Oil leak out of bottom of gasket, and
2) No gas to carb.

I have all three manuals and double checked them. Everything seems perfectly normal and, as I said, I'm doing nothing different than the four previously successful swaps. I've ordered another gasket and ti will be in tomorrow. In the meantime, I thought maybe somebody here could give me some insights into this. I am stumped and don't know what to do differently because the same procedures have always worked in the past.

Thanks for you help--your advice is MUCH Appreciated!

John Parsons, Idaho Falls. This particular Zuk is a bone stock '86 tintop.

I've read somewhere i think on this forum that the timing has to be completely and utterly perfect since if its not it could bend rings and...bla.. I'm not a mech, but in truth and in fact it has to be utterly perfect is that right?

Hi everyone, I just purchased a '12 SE model and I wanted to know if anyone out there knew if I could just take out the non-RF head unit and swap it out with the RF unit. Are the connections in the back the same? I've seen some pics online and see that the RF unit has an extra plug connection in the back which I'm guessing is for the bluetooth mic. The reason I want to swap these two is because I would like to gain the bluetooth feature. I don't want to spend on a aftermarket radio, plus I like the look of the OEM system. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

When I remove the oil fill cap at idle, there is a bit of pressure. the pressure only increases when I rev the engine.

How much pressure is OK? I have a leak in my valve cover gasket, and am wondering if replacing the gasket will even help with a bit of extra pressure pushing out at all RPMs... I've looked around online and have read that there should be vacuum at idle, and that 'a little bit' of pressure is OK.

I've checked all the hoses leaving the valve cover... the PCV is clean and working. there is absolutely no vacuum at the intake side of the fat hose that runs to the top of intake. At any speed. Blowing into that connection on the intake will stall the engine, though.

Any thoughts, anyone?
