Default fuel loss

great ( class book) diagnosis !!
the next quesition is , is the fuel pump getting 12dc
to its input. ( get close to pump , here it run !!)
if it not then trace backwords with a simple volt meter.
if is hot (12v) then
1- either your startup fuel pressure is much less than 15psi or your TBI (throttle body) injecter is not getting its
pulse (or is bad ( measures 1 ohm on coil +-)).

you said you replaced the ECU. ( many spares are in fact bad)

You dont have NOID lite ( to go across the injector conn) or scope to check it. If you did and the NOID was dead then youd have good nfo)

my manual (oem) says car will start : ( coil is ok)
1- good static fuel pressure at pump.
2- good TPS (throttle position sensor , ohm it out) ( min to max throttle)
3- Book says MAP can be bad and start ( untried by me)
it says MAP or TPS must be good to start but one or other can be bad.
4- water temperature must show water cold , not 200 degress F , when in fact it is 65 degress !!!
ohm it out. starting a cold engine with a hot engine profile is not easy.

all other sensors are ignored, oxy, Air Temp , egr, etc. (during cold start)
since you have spark your DISTY CAS is good.

( it cranks ,it sparks and runs force fed.) ( the cps ,cas is in the DIStributor) it is like the little drummer boy.
TDC,TDC, repeat.

this should put you on the correct path
good luck

jargon.
cas= crank angle senor
cps = crank position sensor.
some cars have 2 cas's one on crank and 1 on cam, either can start car and run ( albet poorly in the latter case)
you only have 1 cas. and it is good.
