I posted upstream that I might try this on my Elantra, and now that we're into the hot summer months, this is a good time. I'm looking at the AC and I see there are two lines running from the condensor to the firewall. I take it that only one of these is cold when the engine is running, and the other one will be warm? So I only have to wrap the cold one? One is has a nipple with an H on the cover and the other one has an L. Is the H the one to wrap? Reading masterbiscuit's post, it looks like I should be doing the low pressure cold pipe which is probably the one with L on the cap.

Also, I see that my tubing has several rubber hose sections. Do those get wrapped the same way? (Do Renos have rubber hose sections also?)

If this works, there will be several people doing it over on ElantraClub.com!
