Until a proper iPod adaptor is released, I've modified my FM transmitter setup:
Using
this hack to modify my Belkin Tunecast II, I had the newly-extended antenna in numeous parts of the cabin, but the sound would always change between 'not enough treble' and 'this is more like AM' modes.
Failing to find anything resembling a workshop manual for the swift, I shoved my camera behind the glovebox to try to work out where everything was.
I found one cluster of wires and a socket (for a CD stacker?) coming out of the bottom section (that is, not the CD player, but where the volume and display are). See Image.
Tied the aerial of the Tunecast around the cluster and I'm enjoying clear (albeit not strongly amplified) sound out of the iPod.
Rough, but it works for me.
