Default Map Data

Just bought a new 2017 SX4 S-Cross SZ5 in the U.K. & its map SD card is date 2015.
Contacted Suzuki Customer Services and was told that's the latest one. Was advised to register with local dealer & I would be informed when an update was available.
Definitely not good enough Suzuki!!!!

I have tried the UK 2015 map and its as bad as the 2014 version, loads of roads missing. Don't bother, wait for the next one. Suzuki are taking the piss out of everyone. Spoils a good car.

Hey all,
My first post on here and already with a question - does anyone have the image of 2015 map data?
I own a 2016 Baleno SZ5 which I bought new, it has the SD card with 2014 maps (how ridiculous this is, to put a 2-year old useless map on a new car!), and I have seen the SD cards on sale on e-bay for around 55 but there is no way I am paying this amount of money for maps that are not only 2 years old, but according to many people crap as well! Still they must be better than the 2014 version?
Can anyone, who has 2015 version make a clone image and link it here?
Those HERE maps are useless to me currently!

Linux software will be needed to clone the sd card, windows doesn't work, I have tried it. Its also no use grumbling to Suzuki Customer Don't Care because they are not interested, and only want to sell updates at 130.

Thanks graham04 for yor reply.
Sorry that my initial post is a bit ranty, but... here is my second post, no less rant than the previous one.

Yes I agree, Suzuki customer "don't" care is also strange, it's like no-one in Suzuki knows their maps were changed from Garmin to Here. Not only them, I've contacted three dealerships (including the one where I bought the car) and they all assumed it was Garmin, and were very surprised to find it is not... also looking at the forums it would seem this is quite common across Europe.
I am now thinking of eventually replacing the software altogether, with Android being the preferred option. I've read somewhere (I believe it was this forum, but I was unable to find this information again) that this is possible. If I happen to brick it, then I'm just gonna but a 3rd party replacement head unit (which would still cost around the same as one time map update, and is a better option!).

My only thought is, maybe if enough people complain to them, they will eventually do something about it - either force Here to provide a decent update for free (after all, giving 2014 maps in a 2016 car when there were already updates available is, in my opinion, nothing more than a scam), or maybe replace the head unit with something, that's actually usable.

Still, I have to say the Baleno itself with the boosterjet engine is an excellent car and fits exactly what I need and what I expect of a car, and I am overall very happy with it and cannot find a single bad point except the SLDA. If not this then this car would be perfect, well maybe could use a heated steering wheel
